Medical insurances
The medical insurance for travel to foreign countries as touristic interest, for work or other activities. Through Rai there can be insured individual and legal entities with permanent address in Bucharest.
They are insured for the following risks : accidents, unexpected decay , death . R.A.I. compensates the medical costs imposed by the the necessary treatment of emergency which has to be effectuated during the temporal staying abroad ,the costs of repatriation which include medical transport or the repatriation of the corpse in case of death, as a consequence of an insured risk appeared in the period of validity of the insurance. The medical insurance policy is closed before departure from the Romanian territory according to the informations supplied by the Insured.
Insured risks:
- accident- any unexpected and violent event ,irrespective by the insured ‘s will and because of external factors, representing the cause of a grave bodily injury which doesn’t permit a normal continuity of the travel:
- sickness – any unexpected sickness ,checked by a medical authority and which doesn’t permit a normal continuity of the travel.
The insured cost, also the great responsibility accumulated by RAI for the insured period , is according to the final destination named on the policy:
- for the countries from Schengen space : 50.000 EURO;
- for Swiss : 30.000 EURO;
- for limitrophe countries
- for other destinations , according to the insured‘s option: 10.000 EURO or 30.000 EURO;
For stomatologic emergencies, RAI cover all medical costs till 200 Euro this representing the insurer ‘s sublimite of responsibility for all the period of validity of the insurance for this kind of risk. When the final destination is not specified in the insurance policy , the policy is considered closed for limitrophe countries and with validity only in these countries with maximum insured cost of 5.000 EURO.

Civil Responsibility Policy for damages produced for third persons through car accidents , with validity outside the Romanian territory.This policy is for individual and legal entities who own registered cars in Romania and who go abroad . There are insured :the prejudices which the Insured or those persons who are implied in policy are responsible of the third injured persons through car accidents which take place on the territories of the mentioned countries in the international document of policy "Green Card".
There are covered damages: the costs due to the third injured persons according to the corporal injury or death , as well as according to the destruction or damage of goods into an accident produced by the insured vehicle ; the costs made by the Insured in the civil process, if he was obliged for damages.
Insurance bonus for a vehicle is of:
For 15 days :60 USD

For 2 months: 170 Usd
For 3months : 250 USD
For 4 months : 320 USD
For 5 months : 385 USD
For 6 months : 455 USD
For 7 months :530 USD
